Land creatures. Portugal

Nous sommes en février 1998 à Lisbonne, au Portugal. Tôt dans la matinée, alors qu’un automobiliste partait à son travail, il tomba nez-à-nez avec quatre humanoïdes lumineux qui s’afféraient à une mystérieuse besogne sur une plage.

Le témoin (qui a décidé de conserver l'anonymat) avait quitté son domicile tôt ce matin-là afin de partir à son travail (il vivait dans un complexe près de la côte). Le quartier était très sombre en raison des restrictions de courant à cette époque. Alors qu'il conduisait sur la voie le long de la côte, il tourna sa tête en direction de la mer. C’est là qu’il vit une mystérieuse silhouette. Une poignée de secondes plus tard, il remarqua qu’il s’agissait en réalité de quatre hommes qui se promenaient sur la plage.

Curieux, il décida d’arrêter sa voiture pour regarder plus amplement cette scène plutôt inhabituelle. A ce moment-là, il remarqua que ces humanoïdes étaient très grands et minces. Ils semblaient tous habillés de la même manière : ils portaient un costume fluorescent dont la forme était semblable à celui des plongeurs.

Trois de ces visiteurs se tenaient debout, tandis que le quatrième était à genoux, penché sur le sable sur le rivage. Au départ, notre témoin pensait que ces trois hommes étaient en train d’enterrer quelque chose dans le sable.

Le témoin regarda sa montre ; il était alors 6 heures 10. Il décida de s’approcher du groupe. C’est là qu’il constata qu’il était 6 heures 30. Ainsi, vingt minutes s’étaient littéralement écoulées sans qu’il ne comprenne ni se rappelle ce qui s’était passé durant cette période.

Bien qu’un peu déboussolé, il poursuivit son chemin et ramassa l’un de ses amis en chemin. Il lui raconta alors son histoire. Celui-ci lui suggéra de contacter la police des frontières. Les autorités affirmèrent n’avoir rien vu d’anormal dans la région ce matin-là …

The witness (who requested anonymity) had left his home early on his way to work (he lived in a complex by the coast). The area was very due to power restrictions current at the time. As he drove down the lane along the coast he looked towards the sea which was only a silhouette and noticed what appeared to be the shapes of four men on the beach walking around. Curio…us he stopped the car and backed up to get a closer look at the group. He could now see that the figures were very tall and slender and appeared to be all dressed alike in some type of fluorescent diver’s suit. Three of the individuals were standing while the fourth was kneeled down on the sand right on the shore. The witness thought the three men were busy “burying” something in the sand and walked back and forth between the shoreline and their location. The witness looked at the clock and it said 6:10 a.m. He thought of approaching the men but suddenly it was already 06:30 a.m. The men were now gone and he could not explain what happened during the missing 20 minutes. He then proceeded to work and picked up a friend on his way. He told his friend what he had seen and suggested that he contacted the local National Border Guard who had a post on a nearby hill. They claimed they had not seen anything and dismiss the whole affair as smugglers.
