Initial data
An eyewitness from Almelo (Overacel) I observed in the sky a triangle of about bright lights that were slowly moving in a straight line.
He writes about this as follows:
I was sitting in the evening and looking at the shooting stars that I could see, when I suddenly saw a small triangle of about 7 bright lights. It moved slower than the shooting stars I had seen that night, and seemed to blink slowly here and there. It was about the same height as the stars.
I discussed this observation this morning, when we have already made several theories about what it could be.
1. The illusion of light, this often happens when it comes to meteorites.
2. I was tired and imagined this movement (this was my first theory)
3. There was a split of the meteorite. (Unlikely, because the lights remained close to each other)
4. It was something unknown that the military experienced.
Anyway, it looked very strange and was definitely fun.
I have included a small sketch here.
Original news
Hypotheses
The illusion of movement
Our brain, based on the experience of perception, takes the characteristic of approximation / removal of parameters depicted object for real movement. The illusion may work on circular objects, if they caused the picture imitating the play of light and shadow when rotating a round, flat object. At the same time, if you focus on a single site, the illusion of rotation on it immediately disappears.
This principle works not only when moving the head, but the motion of the person, if the picture of such a principle is found in the elements of the landscape.
Meteor
Meteor, "shooting star" is a phenomenon that occurs when small meteor bodies (for example, fragments of comets or asteroids) burn up in the Earth's atmosphere. A similar phenomenon of greater intensity (brighter than magnitude -4) it's called a fireball.
Pyrotechnics
This category includes not only pyrotechnic projectiles visible in the sky, but also traces of exploded projectiles, their fragments and other similar activities.
Pyrotechnics is a branch of technology related to the technology of preparing combustible compounds and burning them to obtain a certain signal or effect.
Divided into:
Airplane / Helicopter
An aircraft heavier than air for flights in the atmosphere (and outer space (e.g. An orbital aircraft)), using the aerodynamic lift of a glider to keep itself in the air (when flying within the atmosphere) and the thrust of a power (propulsion) installation for maneuvering and compensating for the loss of total mechanical energy to drag.
A rotorcraft in which the lift and thrust required for flight are created by one or more main rotors powered by an engine or several engines. They differ in maneuverability, the ability to hover and almost vertical takeoff.
