In September 2000, an eyewitness noticed a phenomenon in the form of a stationary "glowing pillar" over a field of corn. It had an ashen color, reached a height of up to 15 meters, while it was quite narrow (according to the witness, barely a meter wide). When the man intended to come closer, the object became invisible, but at the same time appeared again when the observer moved away from him. A few minutes later, the "glowing pillar" disappeared.
