"Invasion from Aldebaran" (original – "Inwazja z Aldebarana") is a well – known humorous story by the Polish science fiction writer Stanislaw LEM, written in 1959. In Russian the story was first published in translation by F. Shirokov in 1960.
The story describes the case of a landing of aliens in the rural hinterland:
