In 2018 a meteor shower, the Perseids became one of the best in many years. The peak of a meteor shower peaked on August 12-13, — many observers counted more than 100 meteors per hour! The new moon coincided with the peak that provided a perfect dark background for everyone to watch the starry rain — a plume of dust particles of the comet swift — Tuttle.
This the meteor did Peter Horalek from Slovakia. According to him, the glow incredibly bright meteor appeared in the sky on August 12, was struck by dozens of observers at the Observatory Colonita. When the meteor flashed in the sky, all lit up like the sky the Moon was shining. The trace of the meteor was visible for more than one hour.
