In some cases, birds are able to imitate various sounds: the voice of an infant, an adult, simple and complex sounds that surround us in everyday life (a whistle, the hum of a car, a tram going, etc.) or long-past events (for example, falling bombs during World War II). Many representatives of birds are able to imitate various sounds, but it is worth highlighting birds that can imitate human speech, reproducing not only individual sounds and words, but sometimes small phrases. Of the birds that possess this skill, in addition to parrots, some representatives of the Vranov family are known (for example, magpie, jackdaw, raven).
