Al mirar por la ventana de su cocina, la señora Jerry Armstrong vio una figura extraña moviéndose rápidamente a través del Jardín trasero con las piernas "sin tocar el Suelo". Después de llamar a su esposo, observaron cómo la figura se deslizaba por la pista y saltaba por la puerta detrás de la finca como "un astronauta en la Luna".
Salieron a la calle y Jerry siguió a la figura, que para entonces había desaparecido.
Cuando miraron a su alrededor, Jerry vio una figura en un campo de golf al otro lado de la carretera que se acercaba en su dirección. Al acercarse a la cerca de alambre de la carretera, se detuvo y luego se metió debajo del cable. La figura luego volvió a entrar en la propiedad de Armstrong y se dirigió a la cabaña abandonada, desapareciendo detrás de ella. No lo volvieron a ver: parecía que se había disuelto en el aire.
La figura era de Tamaño normal, vestida con un mono rojo ajustado con una capucha adjunta que cubría la cabeza. La cara estaba abierta, pero los rasgos faciales no diferían.
Armstrong sintió que durante los cinco segundos que la figura lo miró al otro lado de la calle antes de desaparecer detrás de la cabaña, podría haber habido alguna comunicación telepática, pero no puede estar seguro y no recuerda ningún mensaje.

Summary: Looking out through her kitchen window, Mrs Gerry Armstrong saw a strange figure moving rapidly through the back garden, its feet “not touching the ground.” Calling her husband, they observed the figure glide down the path and leap over the gate at the back of the property, like “an astronaut on the moon.” They dashed outside and Gerry took after the figure, which had by now disappeared. As they looked around, Gerry noticed the figure now on the golf course on the other side of the road, approaching in his direction. As it approached the wire fence near the road, it hesitated, and then climbed under the wire. The figure then re-entered the Armstrong’s property and moved toward an abandoned cottage, disappearing behind it. They did not see him again: it was as if he had disappeared into thin air. The figure was of normal size and dressed in a tight fitting red jumpsuit with attached hood that covered the head. The face was open, but they could not make out any features. Armstrong felt that in the five seconds the figure stared at him from across the road, before disappearing behind the cottage, there may have been some sort of telepathic communication, but he cannot be certain and does not recall any message.
