Los conductores que pasan por el valle a las afueras de la ciudad de Haditha, al noreste de Bagdad, informan que "los fantasmas aparecieron cerca del puente, desnudos y haciendo varios movimientos acrobáticos".
El automovilista Shawki sabar dijo:
"Eran casi humanos, aunque no podía concentrarme en su apariencia porque tenía mucho miedo y estaba oscuro".
Las figuras que parecían fantasmas eran tan similares a las de los vivos que un automovilista pensó que había atropellado a un hombre e informó el accidente a la policía.
