Dale Spurlock vio un disco rojo ondulado en forma de cúpula al nivel de las copas de los árboles, pasando por Darko.
Se vio cerca de un pequeño lago y varias líneas eléctricas, y había cuatro luces de colores en la base de la cúpula: una serie de luces rojas, azules, verdes y ámbar. No hizo ningún sonido, pasando de izquierda a derecha directamente sobre la hebra y luego se congeló.
El objeto se inclinó y dos faros de la parte delantera del OVNI iluminaron su camioneta. El sistema eléctrico del camión (generador y batería) se dañó.
El objeto giraba en sentido antihorario y se dirigía hacia el este.

Summary: Dale Spurlock saw a red pulsating domed disc at treetop level while driving near Darco. It was seen near a small lake and some power lines, and had four colored lights–a row of red, blue, green, and amber lights–at the base of the dome. It made no sound as it passed left to right just above the tress, and then hovered. The object tilted, and two headlights from the front of the UFO shown directly down on his pickup truck. The object was revolving counterclockwise, and left toward the east. The truck’s electrical system (alternator and battery) was damaged.
