Irene Granelli, investigadora de campo de APRO en río de Janeiro (Brasil), dio detalles de avistamientos de Ovnis por parte de varios testigos.
El 1 de octubre de 1971 a las 19: 50 horas en San Cristovaorayon río. Uno de los principales testigos, el Sr. Nelson Kalmon Shubsky.
Logró obtener dos fotos del objeto. Shubski, de 24 años, y su prometida, Shaja Fernández Cardoso, de 21, salieron corriendo a la calle para ver el objeto. En el momento en que salieron a la calle, muchos testigos se habían reunido.
Además, para maximizar la apertura de la cámara, Shubsky no tuvo tiempo de ajustar la cámara.
El objeto con tres luces (blanco, amarillo y rojo) maniobró en el área de la fábrica de cosméticos Helena Rubenstein. El cuerpo del objeto ha sido descrito como rosa en el centro con un contorno rojo verdadero. Pulsó rápidamente, y cuando la luz se volvió tenue, el color del objeto se volvió rosado. En el punto más cercano, había tres pequeños cráteres o agujeros en la parte inferior del objeto.
Las tres Fuentes de luz descritas anteriormente se precipitaron desde el cuerpo del objeto hacia la tierra, pero no llegaron a la tierra. La luz del cuerpo del objeto se ha descrito como opaca y difusa, en comparación con la luz de una pieza de hierro al rojo vivo. Al final, el objeto estaba detrás de la chimenea de la fábrica de Rubinstein y no se volvió a ver.

There was quite a gathering of witnesses by the time they got outside. Except to open the diaphragm of the camera to the maximum, Schubsky had no time to adjust the camera. The object t, which sported three lights (white, yellow and red) , was maneuvering in the vicinity of the Helena Rubenstein beauty products factory . The body of the object was described as rose-colored at its center with its outline a true red. It pulsated rapidly and when the light became dim the color of the object was rose . At its nearest point the object appeared to have three small craters or holes on its underside. The three lights described previously jetted down from the body of the object toward the ground but did not reach the ground. The light of the body of the object was described as opaque and diffused, and compared to that of a red-hot piece of iron. The object finally went behind the chimney of the Rubenstein factory and was not seen again . Witnesses living on the other side of the factory said they had seen a red glow but nothing else. The sighting was generally considered to have lasted approximately 5 minutes but no one bothered to time it so it is just an estimate. Mr. Schubsky was using a Leica Model IlI f, black and white film.
