Dos testigos fueron a buscar cuevas de nativos americanos cerca de su cabaña en un lugar muy aislado.
Al final de la tarde, se escucharon extraños sonidos, similares a un "zócalo" metálico. Pensando que los ruidos provenían de la cabina, fueron a la cabina para explorar, en ese momento ya estaba oscuro.
Pronto vieron luces intermitentes al otro lado del barranco. Decidieron caminar a través de los árboles y explorar la fuente. En un claro, se encontraron con varios objetos metálicos similares a un Tambor que yacían en el Suelo y algo así como bolsas de arena o bolsas de cadáveres alineadas junto a ellos. Asustados, corrieron hacia el auto para irse.
En el automóvil, vieron algo así como grandes ojos brillantes en forma de lágrima de color dorado que flotaban dentro del automóvil.
Luego corrieron hacia la antigua casa a unas 2 millas de ese lugar. Al acercarse a un pajar, vieron un extraño animal peludo al que llamaron "mono araña", de aproximadamente 3.5 pies (1 m) de alto, 2.5 pies (0.7 m) de ancho y con 6 patas. Estaba rebotando en un pajar.
Corrieron de regreso a la cabaña y se cerraron. Miraron por la ventana donde estaba la luz, a través de un barranco, y notaron que parpadeaban y se apagaban. El peludo "animal" ahora se esconde justo debajo del borde de la ventana de la cabina.
Luego vieron a unos 20 hombres pequeños con monos blancos. Eran de 3 a 4 pies (0,9-1,2 m) de altura. Comenzaron a descender por el borde del barranco desde el lado del mundo. Se acercaron al ganso, marchando entre los árboles y la hierba de dos pies (0,6 m). Los hombres pequeños se acercaron a la cabaña cerca del borde del bosque, dos de ellos se agacharon y se arrastraron aún más cerca de la cabaña.
Los testigos salieron a la calle para acercarse a los hombres y posiblemente conversar. En los árboles, vieron ojos similares a los de un automóvil, moviéndose entre el follaje. Ambos testigos escucharon un "sonido metálico" todo el tiempo.
Uno de los testigos intentó acercarse a los hombres, pero se retiraron y no se comunicaron con ella. Luego, ambos testigos decidieron regresar a la cabaña.
Más tarde en la noche, pequeños objetos similares a un tren volaban sobre la cabina sobre el Suelo. Llevaban pequeñas luces intermitentes y hacían un silbido.
Más tarde, en algún lugar de la noche, vieron a lo lejos en el valle algo que parecía una estrella brillante. A veces salía una luz brillante.
Más tarde, vieron luces rojas parpadeando a un lado de la luz brillante. A veces un rayo de luz caía al Suelo. Por la mañana, escucharon un silbido, volvieron corriendo y todo se había ido. Después de inspeccionar la cabaña, encontraron parches de hierba aplanada. Alrededor de la cabaña había hierba pisoteada.
Los testigos nunca notaron rasgos en las caras de los hombres. Los hombres pequeños caminaban normalmente, pero siempre permanecían cerca de los árboles.

Two witnesses had gone out looking for Indian caves near their cabin in a very isolated area. Towards the evening they heard weird metallic “clatter” like sounds. Thinking the noises were coming from the cabin they went to the cabin to investigate, it was getting dark at that point. Soon they saw lights flashing on the other side of the ravine. They decided to go through the trees and investigate the source. In a clearing they came upon several metallic “drum like” objects on the ground & what appeared to be sandbags or body bags lined up next to them. Frightened they ran back to the car to leave. In the car they saw what appeared to be large tear shaped shiny eyes, gold in color, that were floating around inside the vehicle. They then ran in the direction of an old house about 2 miles away, as they neared a haystack they saw a weird furry animal, which they called a “monkey spider,” about 3 1/2 foot tall, 2 1/2 foot wide with 6 legs. It was jumping up and down on the haystack. They ran back to the cabin and shut themselves in. They looked out the window towards where the lights where, across the ravine, & noticed that they were blinking on & off. The furry “animal” was now crouched right underneath the edge of the cabin window. Then they saw about 20 small men wearing white coveralls. These were about 3 to 4 foot tall. They started coming down the edge of the ravine, from the direction of the lights. They approached in a single file, marching through the trees & 2-foot tall grass. The little men approached the cabin t the edge of the tree line, 2 of them crouched down and crawled closer to the cabin. The witnesses went outside in order to get closer to the men, and perhaps communicate. Over in the trees they saw the eyes like the ones in the car, moving around within the foliage. All the time both witnesses could still hear the metallic “clatter.” One of the witnesses attempted to get close to little men, but these moved back & did not communicate with her. Then both witnesses decided to go back inside the cabin. Later during the night, small “train like” objects flew around the cabin above the ground. They carried small flashing lights on them & emitted a whooshing sound. Later, sometime during the night, they saw in the distance down a valley what appeared to have been a bright star. At times a bright light would come out of it. Later on they saw red lights flashing on the side of the bright light. At times the light would shine a beam of light toward the ground. By morning they heard a whooshing sound, ran back out and everything was gone. Looking around the cabin they found areas of flattened grass. The grass was trampled all around the cabin. At no time did the witnesses notice any facial features on the little men. The little men had walked normally, but would always stay near the tree line.
