Sra., una maestra de escuela que estaba de vacaciones en Ontario vivía en una cabaña cerca de Bancroft en la orilla del lago. Se retiró temprano y estaba leyendo en la cama, cuando se sintió abrumada por un mareo intenso, trató de levantarse para ir al baño y cayó inconsciente sobre la cama.
Al despertar, encontró dos extrañas figuras de pie al pie de su cama. La luz de la habitación estaba apagada, pero la escena estaba iluminada por una fuente desconocida en el piso a los lados de las figuras. De pies a cuello, estaban "envueltos" como momias.
Luego vino el intercambio de información por medios telepáticos, que duró aproximadamente media hora. Entre la información estaba su revelación de que su planeta de origen tiene una atmósfera dos veces más rica en oxígeno que la nuestra, que tienen un sistema social monógamo y no necesitan dinero, y que nuestro planeta está actualmente bajo el escrutinio de unas 50 civilizaciones alienígenas, junto con otras que estaban menos interesadas en nosotros.
Al final de la reunión, salieron por la puerta de su habitación. Notó que las luces se apagaban en la sala antes de volver a desmayarse.
Cuando se recuperó, descubrió que solo habían pasado 40 minutos. Poco antes de irse a la cama, el testigo vio desde la ventana de su habitación una serie horizontal de luces multicolores que se elevaban inmóvil sobre la orilla lejana del lago.

Mrs Moira J, a schoolteacher vacationing in Ontario, was at a lodge near Bancroft, by a lake. She had retired early and was reading in bed when she was overcome by intense vertigo, tried to get up to go to the bathroom and fell unconscious on the bed. When she came to, she discovered two strange figures standing at the foot of her bed. The room lights were out but the scene was lit by an unknown source on the floor to the sides of the figures. From foot to neck they were “wrapped” like mummies, but heavy set in the chests. There followed an exchange of information by telepathic means that lasted for perhaps half an hour; among the information was their disclosure that their home planet had an atmosphere twice as rich in oxygen as ours, that they had a monogamous social system and had no need for money, and that our planet was currently under the close scrutiny of about 50 alien civilizations with others that were less intensely interested in us. At the conclusion of the meeting, they left by the door to her room. She noticed that the lights were out in the hall before again losing consciousness. When she came top, she found that only 40 minutes had elapsed. Just prior to retiring, the witness had seen from her room window, a horizontal row of multi colored lights hovering motionless over the far side of the lake.
