En el camino de regreso, un funcionario público de 35 años viaja a lo largo del borde de un bosque, mientras que en el otro lado hay terreno plano, campos y prados.
De repente, ve en el espejo retrovisor una esfera roja y luminosa que zigzaguea hacia la parte trasera del automóvil. La esfera brillante tiene aproximadamente 15 cm de diámetro y se mueve a una velocidad vertiginosa de izquierda a derecha, dejando una marca rojiza.
El testigo tiene una sensación extraña, se ve superado por una parálisis gradual, siente dolor en la espalda y dolor en la parte posterior de la cabeza. La esfera ilumina el interior del automóvil, pero no ciega al conductor. El testigo se sintió impotente para moverse, y fue invadido por un miedo inexplicable.
En ese momento, la esfera brillante parece golpear el asiento detrás del testigo y se desmaya.
Más tarde, sin saberlo, se despierta en el pueblo de Penterias, todavía en su coche. Sale corriendo del auto, pensando que la esfera luminosa todavía está dentro del auto.
Luego viaja a casa y ve a su esposa esperándolo. Al llegar, tiene una crisis nerviosa, llora como un bebé en la mesa de la cocina. Todavía siente dolor en la espalda y en la parte posterior de la cabeza.

Summary: A 35-year old civil servant on his way back is driving along the edge of a forest and on the other side flat ground, fields and meadows. Suddenly he sees on the rearview mirror, a red luminous sphere, which zigzags towards the rear of the car. The bright sphere has a diameter of about 15cm and moves with vertiginous speed from left to right leaving behind a reddish trail. A strange feeling seizes the witness, a gradual paralysis overtakes him, and he feels back pain and a pain in the nape of the neck. The sphere illuminates the interior of the car but does not dazzle the driver. The witness felt impotent to move and an inexplicable fear seized him. At this point the bright sphere appears to strike the seat behind the witness and he looses consciousness. Later without knowing he wakes up in the village of Penthereas, still inside his car. He runs out of the car thinking that the luminous sphere is still inside the vehicle. He then drives home and finds his wife anxiously waiting for him. Upon arriving he suffers a nervous breakdown and cries like a child on the kitchen table. He still feels pain on the back and on the nape of his neck
