Hice un viaje a caballo desde Broome a Darwin de julio a septiembre de 1994. Para acortar la larga historia, transportamos caballos a la estación de el Questro a través del río Pentacost alrededor de las tres de la tarde. El automóvil y el remolque se movían extremadamente lentamente debido a los baches de la carretera, y no queríamos asustar a los caballos. Estaba montando en el asiento trasero mirando a los animales cuando vi lo que al principio pensé que eran tres aviones que volaban a mi izquierda.
Pensé que era extraño porque volaban muy cerca uno del otro, y como estaba volando aviones, no sabía lo peligroso que era si no estabas entrenado adecuadamente. Pensé que eran aviones porque las luces rojas y verdes brillaban, y como muchas personas muy ricas se habían detenido en esta estación, pensé que tal vez iban a aterrizar en un aeródromo privado.
De todos modos, fueron bastante bajos y luego simplemente se detuvieron y colgaron a unas 200 yardas (180 m) a mi izquierda, en forma de huevo (la forma típica de un platillo) con luces rojas primero y luego verdes moviéndose horizontalmente alrededor del centro del platillo.
Todavía estaban allí a las 10:30 pm esa noche, y un día sentí que casi podía tocarlos. Se callaron y no hicieron nada hasta que se fueron esa noche.

was doing a horse ride from Broome to Darwin from July to September 1994. To cut a long story we were floating some horses into El Questro Station across the Pentacost River at around three in the afternoon. The car and float was moving extremely slow due to the roughness of the road and we did not want to spook the horses. I was travelling on the back of the ute keeping an eye on the animals when out of the corner of my eye I saw what I at first thought to be three planes coming in low to my left.
I thought it odd because they were travelling really close together, and as I have flown planes before I know how dangerous that can be unless you are properly trained. The reason I thought they were planes was because of the red and green lights and as a lot of the very rich stay at this station I thought it might have been a private airfield they were going to landing on.
Anyway they came in quite low and then just stopped and hovered about 200 yards to my left, ovoid in shape (typical saucer shaped) with first red and then green lights travelling horizontally around the middle of the saucer. They were still there at 10.30 pm that night, at one stage I felt I could almost touch them. They were completely silent and did nothing at all until they left that night.
