Según Margarita Ugalde, toda su familia estaba durmiendo cuando un fuerte ruido interrumpió su sueño.
"El animal cruzó el techo, como se suponía, voló y aterrizó de repente. Parecía fuerte y arrastraba sus alas, caminaba rápidamente y hacía un estruendo como si fuera muy pesado. Es como la Última vez. Lo mismo sucedió hace años, escuchamos los mismos sonidos en el techo", explicó Margarita Ugalde.
Las gallinas que se mantenían en el patio trasero estaban nerviosas y emitían ruidos fuertes como si algo les estuviera sucediendo.
Uno por uno, los pájaros se callaron. Siete de cada diez pollos murieron. Margarita salió al patio trasero y vio algo así como un gran pájaro, de aproximadamente un metro de altura, con la postura de un enano. Tenía plumas, alas y marcas dejadas como una cabra.

Summary: According to Margarita Ugalde, all her family was asleep when a powerful noise shook their slumber. “An animal walked over the roof—it was as thought it had come in flying and suddenly landed there. It sounded strong and dragged its wings, walking quickly and making a thundering noise, as though it were very heavy. It’s just like the last time. The same happened years ago—we heard the same noises on the roof,” explained Margarita Ugalde. The family’s chickens, kept in the backyard, were nervous and making loud crowing sounds, as though something was happening to them. One by one, the birds went quiet. Seven out of ten chickens were killed. Margarita went to the backyard and saw something like a large bird, standing about a meter, with the bearing of a dwarf. It had feathers, wings and left footprints like those of a goat. It appeared to have been looking for food.
