En la noche del 6 al 7 de agosto de 1952, will Jansen, ingeniero naval y diseñador, estaba en kerkrad. Inmediatamente después de la medianoche, el barco en forma de disco con una superestructura visible habló a una pequeña altura, se congeló, hizo un zigzag y corrió.
Luego se vio un segundo OVNI en forma de disco, similar en contornos, flotando aún más lejos. Finalmente se levantó verticalmente y desapareció de la vista.

Just after midnight a disc-shaped craft with visible superstructure swooped down to low altitude, hovered, zigzagged and sped away. A second disc-shaped UFO, similar in outline, was then seen hovering farther away. Finally it tilted up vertically and shot up out of sight.
