El propietario de una granja ubicada en la jurisdicción de Perú, provincia de la Pampa, fue testigo de la trayectoria de un objeto luminoso de bajo vuelo que cambiaba constantemente de color: de rojo a verde y pasando por una fase intermedia de naranja.
Cabe señalar que la granja es atravesada por una línea de transmisión de alta tensión de 132 kV que une las ciudades de General Acha y Guatrache.
La hora era las 19: 30 y Alberto S. (testigo) notó que se estaban produciendo fuertes chispas y un arco eléctrico en las líneas de alta tensión en cuestión. Abrumado por el miedo, decidió regresar a la zona residencial de la granja, donde discutió lo sucedido con otros trabajadores.
Al día siguiente, regresó al lugar donde ocurrió la observación y descubrió que el equipo de reparación de la Administración Provincial de energía (APE) ya estaba en el lugar. Los reparadores buscaron la falla detectada por la estación de control y trataron de averiguar el lugar exacto y la causa del corte de energía. Al encontrarlo, procedieron a las reparaciones necesarias.
Los reparadores descubrieron que uno de los elementos de conexión que conectaban las dos líneas se había derretido y encogido en longitud, dejando solo una pequeña pieza de 7 centímetros. The person in charge of a farm located in the jurisdiction of Perú, Province of La Pampa, found himself witnessing the path of a low-flying luminous object that shifted colors constantly: from red to green and passing through an intermediate orange phase.

While no evidence regarding the cause of the power failure was found at first, they found a circle measuring approximately 5 meters in diameter burned into the grass. They also found that the soil presented a high degree of hardness and compactness.
After being told of the farmhand’s experience the night before, the technicians concluded that a collision must have occurred between the electromagnetic field of the high-voltage line (132 Kv) and the energy field of the unidentified flying object.
The transmission tower in question has an approximate height of 15 meters and features three spacers distanced from each other by 2 meters, two on the one side and the third on its own on the opposite end.
