El testigo regresaba a la aldea a pie y, acercándose a la garganta local, de repente escuchó extrañas voces chirriantes.
Al principio lo ignoró, pero después de dar algunos pasos adicionales, notó el brillo proveniente de detrás del barranco, primero débil pero luego amplificado, de repente hubo un destello después del cual la luz se desvaneció en las olas y varias criaturas pequeñas aparecieron en el límite entre la luz y la oscuridad.
Un testigo aturdido se detuvo. Tan pronto como las pequeñas criaturas lo notaron, fueron llevados de vuelta a la oscuridad desde el espacio iluminado.
El testigo estaba de pie, fascinado, mirando las olas de luz brillante. Todavía podía escuchar lo que sonaba como la risa y el chirriante balbuceo de las voces que emanaban de la oscuridad.
Pronto, pequeñas criaturas balbuceantes y riendo volvieron a aparecer en el borde de la oscuridad. Las criaturas de repente corrieron hacia el testigo, quien sintió que su cuerpo se adormecía y se congelaba.
Las pequeñas criaturas tocaron al testigo varias veces, y de repente comenzaron a chillar y rebotar. Parece que preferían permanecer en la puerta entre la luz y la oscuridad, rara vez arriesgándose a entrar en lugares iluminados.
El testigo volvió a centrar su atención en la luz que ondeaba en ondas o rayas, primero suaves y débiles, y luego parpadeaban.
Solo podía describir pequeñas criaturas de unos 30-60 cm de altura, con cuerpos y rostros humanos y vestidos con monos de goma. Tenían el pelo largo y oscuro.
Después de eso, el testigo pudo continuar caminando y fue acompañado por extrañas criaturas hasta el pueblo de Boboshino.

Summary: The witness was returning to the village on foot and as he near a local ravine he suddenly heard queer squeaky voices. At first he ignored it, but as he took several additional steps he spotted a glow coming from behind the ravine, at first weak, but then becoming stronger, suddenly there occurred a flash after which the light dimmed in waves and in the boundary between the light and the darkness appeared several small creatures. Stunned, the witness stopped at the unexpected contingency. As soon as the little creatures spotted him these were whisked back into the darkness from the illuminated space. The witness stood fascinated staring at the waves of bright light. He could still hear what sounded like laughter and a squeaky babble of voices coming from the darkness. Soon at the edge of the darkness the babbling and laughing little creatures again appeared. The creatures suddenly ran towards the witness who felt his body become numb and cold. The little creatures touched the witness several times and suddenly they began to squeal and jump up and down. They seemed to prefer to stay in the threshold between the light and dark, rarely venturing into the lighted areas. The witness again focused his attention on the light which to flutter in waves or strips, first soft and weak and then flaring up. He could only describe the little creatures as only about 30-60cm in height, human like bodies and faces and wearing rubber-like coveralls. They had dark unruly long hair. The witness then was able to continue to walk and was followed by the bizarre creatures to the village of Boboshino. Upon approaching a street light it seemed to flicker but did not go out, at this point the laughing and babbling little humanoids disappeared back into the darkness and disappeared.
