Un miembro del Departamento de Pesca y caza de Montana vio la luz volando justo detrás del bombardero B-52.
Usando la Mira para ver mejor, notó que un objeto extraño parecía moverse en el avión. Luego, el objeto se unió brevemente al B-52, se separó y desapareció de la vista.
Esto fue reportado al sheriff Pete Howard del Condado de Choto.

A Montana Fish and Game Department employee saw a light flying directly behind a B-52 bomber. Using his rifle scope to get a better look, he noted that the strange object seemed to be pacing the aircraft. The object then briefly attached itself to the B-52, detached itself, and climbed out of sight. The sighting was reported to to Sheriff Pete Howard of Choteau County. Howard conducted follow-up interviews with military personnel and learned that as the object attached itself to the B-52, the plane’s radar equipment went out.
