Cuando el hombre conducía solo, el hombre notó que la Radio había muerto en su automóvil.
Al presionar el botón de la estación no dio resultado y la Radio estaba en silencio. Después de unos segundos, el automóvil se envolvió en una luz blanca brillante y no pudo ver más allá del capó. Los faros y el motor fallaron simultáneamente en el automóvil.
Aparte de eso, los eventos no están claros y lo siguiente que supo fue que la policía lo detuvo por conducir un automóvil sin luz. Fue llevado al hospital y examinado, donde se encontraba en estado de shock.
Su automóvil Ford Cortina 71TC fue revisado y se encontró que tenía una batería baja y niveles bajos de aceite. El interruptor en el alternador necesitaba ser reemplazado, al igual que el cableado, especialmente los faros.
El agua en el radiador también estaba baja. El reportero no quería más investigación.

Summary: While driving alone a man noted his car radio died. Pressing the station button had no effect and the radio remained dead. Seconds later an intense white light enveloped the car and he could not see beyond the bonnet. The car’s lights and motor failed in the same instant. Beyond this events are vague and the next thing he knew he was being stopped by police for driving his car without lights.He was taken to hospital and examined where he was found to be in a state of shock. His vehicle, a Ford Cortina 71TC, was inspected and found to have a flat battery and the oil level was low. The cut-off switch on the alternator needed replacing, as did wiring, especially the headlights. Radiator water was also low. The reporter did not want further investigations conducted.
