Initial data
When the man was driving alone, the man noticed that the radio in his car had died.
Pressing the station button did not work, and the radio was silent. A few seconds later, the car was shrouded in bright white light, and he couldn't see beyond the hood. The car's headlights and engine failed simultaneously.
Other than that, the events are unclear, and the next thing he knew, he was pulled over by police for driving a car with no lights on. He was taken to the hospital and examined, where he was in a state of shock.
His Ford Cortina 71TC was checked and found to have a low battery and low oil level. The switch on the generator needed replacing, as did the wiring, especially the lights.
The water in the radiator was also low. The reporter did not want to investigate further.
