La noche anterior (27 de junio de 1980), los miembros de la familia Carelli ya estaban acostados en la cama debido a las fuertes bajas temperaturas, cuando malvina, escuchó el ruido que venía de detrás de la ventana. Carelli y ambos escucharon "pasos lentos y pesados" que salían de las escaleras hacia el patio y luego desde la Terraza.
Después de unos minutos, malvina vio una luz fuerte que se movía fuera de la ventana que se abría paso a través de las cortinas del dormitorio, la Sra. No salieron a investigar.
En la mañana del día 28, la señora Carelli colgaba en la calle colgando ropa y notó que hacía mucho frío allí, acompañada por su perro Esteban.
Mientras trabajaba, observó a unos 20 metros a una mujer que estaba acompañada por dos niños. Los dos niños, descritos como rubios y vestidos con ropa muy ligera según el clima, jugaban cerca de un enorme cactus. La mujer llevaba ropa ajustada de color marrón, de nuevo ligera para el clima. Tenía un largo cabello rubio platino y grandes y hermosos ojos azules y verdes.
Se acercó a un extraño y le advirtió sobre el perro, pero la mujer parecía indiferente y dijo:
"No nos morderá".
El testigo describe además a la mujer como muy frágil y "hermosa", con un cuerpo delgado y curvilíneo. Carelli le preguntó a la mujer si se había congelado, pero ella respondió negativamente. Momentos después, la señora Carelli, un poco perpleja, regresó a la cocina. Desde ese punto, ya no podía ver a la mujer extraña y a los niños.
Una hora después, malvina salió a revisar y vio a la mujer, esta vez amamantando al bebé. y se sentó junto a un cactus mientras los otros dos niños seguían jugando cerca. No había un modo de transporte obvio alrededor (automóviles, etc.).
Malvina se acercó y también habló con una mujer que la miró con una mirada perspicaz pero algo desdeñosa. El perro evitó a extraños ladrando, pero dudó en acercarse. (El perro fue visto más tarde en la cocina y aparentemente desapareció más tarde, y nunca volvió a aparecer en el área).
Esa misma mañana, en un campo deportivo cercano, los testigos encontraron huellas extrañas en el Suelo que se asemejaban a un triángulo isósceles. Además, misteriosamente, el nivel del agua en la piscina deportiva ha disminuido sustancialmente inexplicablemente.

The night before (June 27 1980) members of the Carelli family were already in bed as a result of the intense cold temperatures when one of the members, “Malvina” heard noises coming from outside her window. She woke up Mrs Carelli and both heard what appeared to be “slow moving heavy footfalls” coming from the patio stairwell and later on the terrace area. Minutes later Malvina saw a strong light moving outside the window, that shone right through the bedroom curtains, Mrs Carelli also observed the light. They did not go outside to investigate. In the morning of the 28th Mrs Carelli was outside hanging some laundry and noticed that it was very cold, her pet dog “Esteban” accompanied her. As she worked she noticed, about 20 meters away a woman that was accompanied by two children. The two children, described as blond and wearing very light clothing in relation to the weather, were playing around a huge cactus plant. The woman wore a tight-fitting brown colored outfit, again kind of light for the weather. She had long blond-platinum hair and large beautiful penetrating, blue-green eyes. She approached the stranger and warned her about the dog, but the woman seemed unconcerned and said, “he will not bite us.” The witness further describes the woman as very delicate and “beautiful”, with a lean voluptuous body. Mrs Carelli then asked the woman if she was cold, but she replied in the negative. Moments later Mrs Carelli, a little perplexed, walked back into the kitchen; from that vantage point she no longer could see the strange woman and the children. An hour later Malvina went outside to check and saw the woman, this time breastfeeding a baby, and sitting next to the cactus while the two other children remained playing nearby. There was no obvious mode of transportation around (vehicles, etc). Malvina approached and also spoke to the woman, which looked at her with the penetrating eyes n a somewhat disdainful stare. The dog walked around the strangers, barking but did not dare approach. (The dog was later seen in the kitchen area and apparently disappeared later, and was never seen in the area again). On that same morning at a nearby sports field witnesses found strange tracks on the ground resembling an isosceles triangle. Also, mysteriously, the water level from the sports pool had inexplicably substantially decreased.
