La familia del testigo descansó en el área durante varios meses, y en la noche de la Luna llena se acostaron, el testigo durmió solo en su habitación. La cama estaba frente a la puerta que conducía a la sala de estar. La ventana de la izquierda estaba abierta de par en par y una Luna brillante brillaba en ella.
Alrededor de la una de la madrugada, un testigo despertó repentinamente la presencia de alguien en la habitación. Se levantó lentamente en la cama y vio a una criatura alta, delgada y negra y oscura entrar por la ventana.
El testigo estaba convencido de que ahora estaba completamente despierto y consciente de su entorno. No vio su cara, ni sus manos, ni sus pies. Parecía que llevaba una larga capa negra con capucha.
Tan pronto como se puso de pie en la cama, comenzó a Leer los textos bíblicos bizantinos con una voz chirriante y inhumana, por un minuto o menos. El testigo intentó gritar y moverse, pero se sintió atado a la cama. El testigo no podía moverse mientras la figura estaba de pie y leía sus textos. El testigo intentó cruzar los dedos, pero no pudo.
Momentos después, su madre, que dormía con sensibilidad, se despertó y se dirigió a su habitación a la derecha. Tan pronto como ella entró en su pequeña habitación, la criatura saltó instantáneamente por la ventana.
Obviamente, ella vio la figura desde que le preguntó al testigo:
"¿Qué fue eso?”
Minutos después, le dijo a un testigo que escuchó a alguien cantar, pero no pudo averiguar qué era exactamente. Su madre pensó que podría haber sido el Santo patrón de la isla quien le hizo una visita (?).

The witness family had been vacationing in the area for a couple of months and during the night of the full moon they had gone to bed, the witness slept alone in his room. The bed was facing the door leading into the living room. The window on the left was wide open, allowing the bright moon to shine in. Around 1am suddenly a presence in the room woke the witness up. He slowly raised his body in the bed and saw a tall, slender, black shadowy being come in through the window. The witness was convinced that he was totally awake now and aware of his surroundings. He couldn’t see his face, his hands or legs. It looked like if was wearing a long black cape with a hood. As soon as he stood at the foot of the bed, (it) started reciting Byzantine biblical texts in a raspy inhuman voice, for a minute or less. The witness tried to scream and move but felt tied to the bed. The witness was unable to move as the figure stood there reciting its texts. The witness tried doing the sign of the cross with his fingers but was unable to. Moments later, his mother being a light sleeper, woke up and walked towards his room from the right. As soon as she entered his small room the being jumped out the window in an instant. Apparently she saw the figure since she asked the witness, “What was that in there?” Moments later she told the witness that she had heard someone chanting, but couldn’t make it out. His mother thought that it could have been the patron saint of the island that had paid him a visit (?).
