The two hunters, who were returning to the hut in the gathering dusk, at one point joined together and walked together. Suddenly, a figure stepped out from behind a large tree on the right in front of them, no more than ten feet (3 m) away. The figure was wearing a silver "spacesuit" with a helmet with a visor, very similar to an astronaut.
The two hunters stopped and stared. The cosmonaut also stopped and looked at them.
After about 20 seconds, the astronaut turned and retreated behind a tree. The hunters, at first stunned by what they saw, did not move for another five seconds, then ran behind a tree with their guns ready. This time, the strange figure completely disappeared.
The foliage around the tree was very dense, and anyone who passed through it would have made a lot of noise, but people didn't hear anything. Terrified, they ran back to the hut.
The next day, they searched the place, but found absolutely no trace.

The figure, wore a silvery “space suit” with a helmet with visor, very similar to an astronaut. The two hunters stopped and stared. The “astronaut” also stopped and looked at them. After about 20 seconds, the astronaut turned and stepped back behind the tree. The hunters, at first flabbergasted at what they had seen, did not move for another five seconds, then they ran behind the tree, rifles at the ready. At this time the strange figure had completely vanished. The foliage around the tree was very thick and anyone walking through there would have made plenty of noise, but the men heard nothing. Terrified they ran the rest of the way back to the cabin. The next day they searched the site but found absolutely no traces.
