The owner of the tourist shop, Yannis Clonaris, and his wife were returning home in a car when he saw something flying low to the left of the car. It had the shape of a human being, whitish in color, very hairy, which had wings instead of arms. His head was round, with small ears and round eyes like a cat's. There was some kind of "mechanism" on its back, and the witness got the impression that the creature was flying because of this device.
He slowed down and stuck his head out the window to get a better view. The flying creature continued to fly without moving its wings until it disappeared. Before that happened, he turned his head and looked directly at the witness. Then it accelerated and disappeared in the direction of Mount Tsambika. His wife didn't see the creature, and neither did Mr. Frank. Clonaris had said nothing to her then, so as not to frighten her.
The incident occurred during a large number of UFO sightings in the area.

His wife did not see the apparition and Mr. Clonaris did not tell her anything at the time in order not to frighten her. The incident took place during a localized UFO flap.
