Pointy hat, long white beard and a growth of only 60 centimeters. These cute gnomes were once a part of everyday life in the Nordic countries. John Carlson from new Jersey (USA) recalled the stories his grandmother Alice about these creatures. Grandmother was born in Sweden in 1891 and said that gnomes are mischievous creatures. It is true the dwarves call them, and was using the Scandinavian term "tomtar".
