The night watchman Jose Padron was on duty when he saw a huge figure heading towards him, and making huge steps. The huge creatures were the wings which padrón was compared with the wings of a small plane. The claws of the creature, obviously, was making the sound.
Terrified padrón ran back into the hut, shrinking fearfully inside until daybreak.
Huge footprints were found the next day near the hut.
The creature returned the following night with a similar creature which is thought the guards were sent to the nearby mountains of San Miguelito. The earth seemed to tremble, when the creature flew away. Search in the region have not identified any samples of hair nor feathers.
