Masons Raimundo Alvarez and Pancho Torres were working on a roof drain when they heard a buzzing sound and then noticed that all the usual daytime sounds had stopped, creating a "suffocating" silence.
About 50 yards (45 m) away, Alvarez saw two strange figures about 8 feet (2.4 m) tall, dressed in bright silver clothing that resembled fish scales.
As the two men got closer, they saw that the creatures were "unusually broad" and slender, with a rounded head of a bright silver color, with two round bumps where the eyes should have been, small ears, and no visible mouth or nose. The hands had four fingers and large webbed feet like ducks.
When walking, they "seemed to float in the air." They approached the two men, but then a woman appeared around the corner with a can of milk, and the two creatures "flew" to her. A lot of dust rose from the ground.

About 50 yards away Alvarez saw two strange figures about 8-foot tall, dressed in bright silvery clothing resembling fish scales. As they approached, the two men could see that the beings were “unusually broad,” and “slender, the rounded head bright silvery in color, with two round bumps in place of eyes, small ears, no visible mouth or nose, hands with 4 fingers, and large webbed feet like those of ducks.” They “seemed to float in air” while walking. They approached the two men but just then a woman carrying a can of milk came around the corner, and the two creatures “flew” toward her. A great deal of dust arose from the ground; the two entities disappeared into it and were not seen again.
