Initial data
A strange piece of home security camera footage circulating online appears to show a pair of bipedal humanoid creatures hiding in the driveway of a Texas home.
The curious video was reportedly shot near a Dallas home late last month and was posted on Reddit this week by a baffled homeowner who hoped someone would be able to spot the oddities.
In the footage, you can see miniature "visitors" who seemed to scurry on two legs at the end of the driveway, and then disappear behind the car.
Some Internet reviewers have suggested that the anomalous forms may be small humanoid creatures that exist in the folklore of cultures around the world. Known as chanek in Mexico, tukoloshe in Zimbabwe, and pakwaji among some native American tribes, these mysterious dwarf creatures exist somewhere between cryptozoology and the spirit world with many legends attributing sinister motives to these entities.
