I was sitting on a log in the woodland that separated the horse farm from the large field that was part of the Lawrence estate. It was late morning and the light of day. I felt someone looking at me, and I looked up.
Just a few feet away from him stood a very tall figure, fully clothed in a black cloak, with a hood and no face. The figure was solid and did not look like a shadow or Ghost. She was looking at me. For some reason I jumped up and ran to her.
In the blink of an eye, the creature was at the other end of the field, about two miles away, hovering above the ground and looking over my shoulder at me. The look wasn't hostile or friendly. A combination of cold curiosity and emptiness.

I felt someone looking at me and looked up. Standing only a few feet away was a very tall figure completely cloaked in black with a hood and no face visible. The figure was solid; not shadowlike or ghostlike. It was staring at me. For some reason I jumped up and ran toward it. In an instant the being was at the other end of the field about .2 miles away hovering just above the ground and looking at me over its shoulder. The stare was not hostile or friendly. A combination of cold curiosity and blankness.
