Two women walking home on a deserted highway noticed a tall hitchhiker standing on the side of the road. They stopped to pick it up.

He was described as clean-shaven, with long blond hair and sparkling blue eyes, and dressed as usual. The man greeted them warmly and said that "they" were waiting. Witnesses then recalled the vehicle rising above the object, which was hovering over the desert.

Inside, the two women were separated, and the main witness was suddenly surrounded by several short-headed humanoids with huge staring eyes and slit-like mouths. They spoke to her using telepathy and asked her to lie down on a table where she was examined and several samples were taken from her.

Then she was taken to a large room with a large window. Then an elderly, bearded man in a dressing gown entered the room. She had a brief conversation with the man and then remembered waking up in her car on a deserted desert road with her friend.
