The mother of the main witness heard noises around the house in the nearby woods. Their pet dog was howling and clearly scared.
The witness-the father decided to drive the truck to the back yard to light up the forest with his headlights and see what was behind. The headlights lit up the bushes with two large greenish glowing eyes. It was too dark to see anything completely, but whatever it was, it was very large and dark, very dark black.
My father grabbed a shotgun and fired it into the air. They all caught a glimpse of a large black animal (outwardly a half-horse and half-dog) running into the forest.

The headlights caught two large greenish glowing eyes in the bushes. It was too dark to make anything out completely, but whatever it was, was very large and dark, very dark black. The father grabbed a pellet gun and shot into the air. They all caught a quick glimpsed of a large black animal, half-cat and half-dog in appearance running into the woods.
