Police officer Jose Corcino and a friend were driving a pickup truck late at night in an isolated area when the car's headlights illuminated a short gray figure slowly crossing the road in front of the truck. She disappeared into the bushes on the other side of the road.
Corcino stopped the truck, grabbed a flashlight from his friend and tried to find the creature, but couldn't.
The creature was mostly humanoid in shape, somewhat bulky to the waist. It was about 4 feet (1.2 m) tall, with a large round head. He walked as if he were "standing at attention."
