A teenage boy was driving home around midnight when a creature unlike any he had ever seen before suddenly jumped in front of his car from an embankment on the side of the road.
Whatever it was, the witness had to hit the brakes to avoid hitting it. He got a good look at the thing as it bounced in his headlights.
He estimated that he was between 3.5 and 4 feet (1-1. 2 m) tall, with fangs and a face resembling a cross between a cat and a bat, red eyes with large black pupils and long pointed ears. It also had small "paws" with three-inch claws (7.62 cm) and muscular hind legs like a kangaroo.
The creature was covered in long, thick dark brown or black hair.

It also had small “paws” equipped with three inch long claws and muscular hind legs something like those of a kangaroo. The creature appeared to be covered in long, bushy dark brown or black hair.
