Initial data
Stories about the " Skunk Monkey," sometimes referred to as the "Florida Bigfoot," have been around for years.
Sarasota native Mike Faulconer recalls seeing a "Skunk Monkey" in a field near the road in 2013.
"You could see it was big," he tells Fox Nation's Casey McDonnell. "And when I say' big, ' I mean eight feet (2.4 m) tall. You could just say it was massive [in size] and thick - just big."
Not only was this observation unexpected, Faulconer was also surprised by what happened after he uploaded his photos to the internet.
"My office started getting phone calls, people were asking me," he recalls. "Within a week, I had five Bigfoot hunters from all over the country at my home."
Falconer adds that since he saw the creature, he has returned "every single day" to the same place in search of clues, such as footprints.
