Sheila Charles was driving her son Shane to school when a strange creature or animal flew out in front of the car. Swerving to avoid it, she lost control and got into an accident.
The creature was described as about four to five feet (1.2-1.5 m) long, mostly resembling a dog, but with a smooth snake head on a thin 30-inch (76.2 cm) neck. His eyes were "reptilian" and he was covered in shaggy hair or hair.
Its hind limbs were long, its forelimbs noticeably shorter, and it had no tail.
The other driver also saw the creature.

Sheila Charles was driving her son, Shane to school when a strange being or animal darted out in front of the car. Swerving to avoid it she lost control of the car and suffered an accident. The creature was described as about four to five feet long, generally dog-like, but with a sleek serpentine head set on a slender 30-inch neck. Its eyes were “reptilian” and it was covered with shaggy fur or hair. Its hind limbs were long, its front limbs notably shorter and it had no tail. Another driver also saw the creature.
