Ibrahim Ismail and several other local youths were fishing in one of the lagoons when they noticed what they thought was another "man" standing about a hundred feet (30 m) away. The group immediately realized that the "man" was not human. As it grew darker and colder, the witnesses froze in a stupor, watching the silhouette of a giant humanoid figure approaching their place.

They estimated that the "monster" was at least 10 feet (3 m) tall. The group was finally able to move and ran towards the shore as fast as they could. Looking back, they saw that the giant's eyes were large, bright, and shining. When the group reached the shore, they saw that the giant had also arrived, but it suddenly disappeared.

A month later, another man was also fishing in the area when he saw a similar figure that suddenly came out of the water and walked on the water; it also had large glowing eyes.
