In the area where numerous domestic and agricultural animals, including rabbits, were found mutilated and drained of blood. A man returning home at night reported seeing a strange white kangaroo crossing the road in front of him.

There were also reports of attacks in nearby villages.

Last year, another wave of injuries hit the area.
