A chupacabra has appeared near Vladivostok? A mysterious creature (a chupacabra) tore apart a poultry at one of the dachas in the Solovey-Klyuch tract 30 kilometers from the seaside capital.

The owners of the dead chickens were forced to think about the mysterious monster by the unusual consequences of the predator's raid.

Nina Gorobets and her husband have been wintering at the dacha for the fourth year, since conditions allow. All this time, they keep a dozen or a half chickens on the farm. This winter, however, there were nine of them.

It is also important to note that neighbors help the spouses of Gorobets to feel safe in the deserted expanses in winter: two more families of pensioners live on the nearest streets belonging to the same dacha partnership, in addition, every weekend from seven to ten people come to neighboring dachas – mainly because they are being built. It was they who witnessed the terrible events that occurred after one of the recent snowfalls.

On Saturday morning, all the neighbors, as usual, were on the street, at their construction sites. Nina Lukinichna and her husband were also busy in the yard. They saw the chickens alive for the last time around 11 o'clock, when they took the laid eggs. The hostess went back to the chicken coop at about five in the afternoon to give the bird food.

What she saw shocked the pensioner: three chickens, strangled, lay in the aviary, neatly stacked in a row. She found three more dead in the chicken coop. The carcasses of the birds were completely drained of blood, all had no insides. Moreover, the stomachs and intestines were completely eaten out – not a piece, not a blood next to it. Everything else was untouched. The last three chickens were nowhere to be found.

Rushing back into the aviary, Nina Lukinichna discovered that the fishing net surrounding him from the side of the beds had been damaged, and neatly, as if cut with scissors, and parted. Behind them, footprints were leaving in the fresh snow towards the forest. These were the tracks of one animal.

The husband and neighbors came running to the screams of the pensioner. Naturally, everyone was shocked: no one heard a sound, although logically the chickens should have made an incredible noise when attacked by a predator. Moreover, the presence of a stranger did not react in any way to Zhuzha - a small mongrel living here, which the hostess jokingly calls "our wolfhound" for a good reaction. That is, in broad daylight, some creature quietly destroyed six chickens and dragged away three more. Alone! At the same time, there were no traces of dragging bird carcasses in the snow.

Of course, all measures were taken to investigate: the neighbors followed the tracks all the way to the forest and made sure that the beast did not come back. In other words, he was able to steal three chickens at a time, so he was quite large.

However, one chicken was soon found. She jumped into the half-open door of the greenhouse and hid in the farthest corner. When the owner was able to grab her, judging by the bird's heartbeat, she was on the verge of a heart attack. The remaining two could not be found…

The "veche" of summer residents gathered later could not come to a consensus regarding the "personality" of the aggressor. Some spoke in favor of the fact that the attack was committed by a fox, others suspected a ferret, another remembered that last winter he saw a marten nearby.

However, after analyzing all the circumstances of the emergency, the people came to the conclusion: none of the known local predators usually does this with prey. Even a feral dog or wolf. Foxes, as a rule, strangle their victims and drag them away one by one, because they are too small to drag two or three chickens at once. There is nothing to say about ferrets: as usual, they bite off the bird's head and wings, eat up and leave, they cannot drag the prey somewhere. Martens… Except for one of the neighbors, no one has seen martens in these parts, and what's there - no one knows what they look like. A wolf or a dog are also not too big predators to do such things alone. The tracks, again, testified that the beast was alone, and these were the tracks of the departing animal. There were no tracks showing where he came from at all. Recall that it was snowing in the Nadezhdinsky district the day before.

It is not surprising that in the end one of the enlightened suburban Sherlocks uttered a mysterious word: "Chupacabra".
