In Crimea, a chupacabra killed seven sheep. One of the residents of the village of Strogonovka near Simferopol found the torn bodies of seven sheep in his barn this morning. It has not yet been possible to find out what kind of predator it is. But in Strogonovka he has already been ranked as a chupagabra.

"The animal chewed the abdominal and thoracic cavities of the sheep and ate their insides. There are traces of teeth and claws on the sheep's body. They were strangled," said the owner of the sheep Dilyaver Dittanov, reports the website 15 minutes.

According to him, the predator got into the barn through a glazed window, barred with wooden crossbars. At the same time, neither Dittanov nor his neighbors heard any unusual noise that night. The man suggested that a stray dog could have killed the animals.

Residents of Strogonovka remembered that a year ago a similar case had already taken place in the village. An unknown animal tore up twenty sheep in the same way.

In the department of veterinary medicine in the Simferopol district, they believe that a dog could not tear up sheep like that. According to veterinarians, sheep are too big animals for a dog. They tend to think that a wolf could have done this.

"There has never been such a case that dogs have committed such a massacre. A dog can catch up, bite, but not tear apart such a number of animals," the department said.

The Simferopol forest hunting farm also doubts that the sheep were torn apart by a wolf. They reported that there are no such predators in the vicinity of Simferopol and the district. In addition, experts noted that wolves attack only on grazing.

"This is not a wolf's job, because the wolf will not gnaw out the window and will not go to the settlement, to the barn. This is a large feral dog. Maybe not one, but two, who are not afraid of people and can get into the barn," said Guriy Shafran, director of the forest hunting farm.

Meanwhile, the news about the slaughtered animals has already made residents of Strogonovka worry. They fear for their children and animals and demand that the authorities shoot wolves and stray dogs.

News about the chupacabra excites residents of Ukraine from time to time. A mysterious animal suffocates chickens and nutria and sucks the blood out of them. The last time the chupacabra reminded of itself was in January of this year in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. There, in one of the villages, the animal strangled a dozen rabbits.

And in 2010, a chupacabra was caught in one of the villages of the Chernihiv region. The animal looked like a fox of the "sphinx" breed, it was practically hairless, with a long tail and sharp fangs. The beast moved like a kangaroo, jumping on its hind legs.

Traces of chupacabra were also found in Crimea. A farmer from the village. Nizhnegorskoye, who had chickens and rabbits killed, saw a strange creature at night — "a big dog standing on its hind legs, with a creepy muzzle."

In the winter of 2011, the Chupacabra appeared in the Simferopol district. In this case, the story turned out to be standard: attacks on rabbits and poultry, the bloodless bodies of dead animals, eyewitness accounts claiming to have seen a creature that looks like a medium-sized dog, but with enlarged hind legs, on which it moves with jumps. True, the Crimean chupacabra had its own peculiarities in these stories — its large tail was noted, which made the resemblance to a kangaroo absolutely unambiguous.

According to Wikipedia, the chupacabra (Spanish chupacabras from chupar — "suck" and cabra - "goat", literally - "sucking goat", "goat vampire") is an unknown creature to science, a character of urban legend. According to legend, the chupacabra kills animals (mostly goats) and sucks their blood.

There is no reliable information about the existence of the chupacabra, nevertheless, from time to time there are testimonies of eyewitnesses who allegedly saw the chupacabra coming from various regions. Animals (foxes, coyotes, jackals, pigs) modified as a result of mutations or diseases are often mistaken for "chupacabra".
