A huge number of "witch bottles" began to be found on beaches in the southern part of the United States. Their purpose is to "bury evil spirits."

Frightening containers can be seen on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. They terrify even scientists. Beach visitors are advised to be careful and not try to uncork these bottles.

The discovered containers contain herbs, nails, hair or "human liquids". As a rule, such bottles were used in Great Britain, where in the XVI–XVII centuries they believed in the existence of witches and the likelihood of sending diseases with the help of magical spells. Presumably, the bottles could have been made in South American states or Caribbean countries.
