The witness's father sent a letter to albert Ducroc, a well-known French science journalist, describing the observation and a photo of his son.
Excerpt from the letter:
"On may 26, 1975, at approximately 19:45, my son Didier, who had just turned seventeen, called me and said that he had just seen a UFO and that he had photographed it.
His statement was met with great skepticism from me, my wife, and my daughter. Before closing the shutters, he saw this "thing", and after a few seconds he had the reflex to jump on the camera and take a picture.
We didn't talk about the incident again. After finishing the film and not having the money to develop it, my son put it aside... and forgot about it until last week.
At the sight of the picture that I attach to this letter, I was amazed."
