Friday, March 20, 2009, my wife and son were traveling home from Carlsbad caverns, and at sunset, saw 4 lights in the sky at a height of 15 meters from the ground, within a mile of our car (we shared a few houses).
My wife thought it was the lights of the towers, but they are simultaneously moved vertically. Besides, these lights are alternately pulsed. I immediately turned onto highway 285 and saw that in the sky there are only three lights in the shape of the letter "V" (4th disappeared). These lights slowly rose up to a height of approximately 300 metres and a few seconds slowly went to the left (North). The sun is almost down and when the lights were already far away, it seemed to me that one of them was moving more slowly, the other two.
When the lights reached the horizon, we could clearly see their shape (first time). Soon after, in the middle appeared the 4th light. All 4 fire at the same time "broke" and continued movement in the same direction.
At a distance of about 15 kilometers, we still saw them. The lights were moving parallel to the highway 285.
