A man claims to have spotted what he thinks could be a UFO 'scanning and flashing' blue and white circular lights above Pontypool.
Kieron Kenny was driving to work in Bristol at around 5.40am last month when he spotted the strange lights in the sky near Tranch.
Thinking it might have been a police search helicopter, he stopped at the side of the road to take a closer look.
But, as he filmed the strange sight, he soon realised the lights may not actually be from this world.
"I was on my way to work and I saw these really, really bright lights," Mr Kenny, 30, said.
"I thought it was a police helicopter with a search light - but it was glowing too much.
"The video doesn't do it justice - it was a lot brighter in real life.
"It was lighting up the clouds around it.
