Friday, 7 December 2012, in the South-East of the state of Texas in the sky was filmed bright and impressive fiery object.

Flash saw dozens of motorists who were driving on a busy road around 18:40. We see the first light blue halo of white light. Then this ball seems to be falling apart until will suddenly evaporate.

The BBC researched this intriguing case. Their conclusions are clear: the UFO is actually a meteor, disintegrating in our atmosphere. This is a satisfactory explanation? Not for everyone. For Scott C. Waring, that's how moving this glowing form, can not be a simple stone from space.

Original news

Investigation

Versions testing, their confirmation or refutation. Additional information, notes during the study of materials

You can accept the findings of the BBC: such appearance and movement are truly characteristic of meteorites. NASA also inclined to this version: it was a meteor, most likely a fragment from the asteroid belt and not associated with any meteor shower, geminid.
