Initial data
The Sergeant and three pilots from the 717 squadron of strategic reconnaissance of the 28th strategic reconnaissance wing reported that three milky white discs were between 30,000 to 40,000 feet.
The pilots were behind the runway East-West, when they observed the objects. They appeared between 3 and 4 inches in diameter (at arm's length), moving faster than any jet plane that they saw.
Direction of travel: North.
The objects were seen one at a time with approximately one minute between observations. Each object was observed for about 5 seconds.
The significance of this report lies in the fact that before the observation of a similar object was observed by other pilots on this station.
15:30 two pilots on the Eastern side of the runway East-West reported that the object was discovered at an altitude of 20,000 feet or higher. They had the shape of a disk and was grayish-white color. Each of them had a length of about 3-4 inches in diameter at arm's length.
The object came from the South-West direction and crossed the North-West corner of the airfield. The object seemed to have stopped and hovered over the territory to the North of the runway East-West. He then lost altitude, and then reportedly "brought her back".

Original news
A sergeant and three airmen of the 717 Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron, 28th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing reported that three milky white discs were between 30,000 and 40,000 feet. The airmen were lying on there backs off the edge of the East-West runway when they observed the objects which appeared between 3 and 4 inches in diameter (at arm’s length), moving faster than any jet aircraft they have seen. Direction of travel: Northerly. The objects were seen one at a time with approximately one minute between sightings. Each object was observed for approximately 5 seconds. The significance of this report is just prior to the sighting a similar object was observed by other airmen at this station. (FUFOR Index) 3:30 p.m. Two more airmen at the east end of the East-West runway reported that an objects was observed at 20,000 feet or above. It was shaped like a disc and was grayish white and approximately 3 to 4 inches in diameter at arm’s length, traveling faster than any jet they have ever seen moving to the north. The object came from a southwesterly direction and crossed over the northwest corner of the airfield. The object seemed to stop and hover over an area north of the East-West runway. It would lose some altitude and then reportedly gain it right back.
