On Wednesday, 3 September 2014, the residents of the district of Penampang in Kota Kinabalu (Northern part of Malaysia) was afraid, when the sky appeared a mysterious red light. That evening, about 19 hours, when the sun was setting over the capital of Sabah came a long, thin UFO.
An unidentified object was motionless and gave off an intense red light. Some were quick to explain the incident, saying it was probably a meteorite or a comet.
The phenomenon disappeared according to different accounts, in three hours!

Le mercredi 3 septembre 2014, les habitants du quartier de Penampang, situé dans la ville de Kota Kinabalu (au Nord de la Malaisie), ont connu une grande frayeur après qu’une mystérieuse lumière rouge ait fait son apparition dans le ciel. Aujourd’hui encore, nul ne expliquer l’origine du phénomène …
Ce soir-là, aux alentours de 19 heures, alors que le Soleil était couché, un OVNI long et fin a fait son apparition au-dessus de la capitale de Sabah. L’objet non identifié était immobile et émettait une intense lumière rouge. Certains se sont empressés d’expliquer cet incident en affirmant qu’il s’agissait probablement d’une météorite ou d’une comète.
Le phénomène aurait disparu, selon les divers témoignages, trois heures plus tard, soit vers 22 heures !
Un habitant âgé de 22 ans et prénommée Winnie a pu voir l’OVNI alors qu’il rentrait chez lui en voiture à 21 heures :
« Je conduisais en direction de Tanjung Aru et je voyais des gens sortirent de leur maison pour le voir. »
Il poursuit :
« Je me suis alors arrêté et j’ai constaté une ligne de lumière dans le ciel. Immédiatement, j’ai pensé que c’était une météorite. »
Winnie s’est rapidement rendu compte que sa première impression était certainement fausse puisque si c’était une comète elle se serait inévitablement mise à bouger.
L’OVNI a été photographié et les images, publiées massivement sur Internet, ont de quoi nous rendre perplexes.
