A retired police officer reported watching a low-lying UFO in the shape of a boomerang. The object was moving on the road of Taubenberger in Turlock, California.
24 Jan 2015 at about 19:00, the witness and his wife were driving during the incident:
"There was fog that night. But I could see three white lights that formed a triangle or perhaps a boomerang. It was hard to see through this layer of fog. The object was about 100-200 feet above my truck. At first he moved slowly, then accelerated, and then quickly disappeared in the fog."
The witness stated that the object was headed North in the direction of several homes near a cornfield North of Tuolumne street.
"He was silent. My wife was in the passenger seat, but her head was bent to her phone when I told her about it. She could not see him, until he disappeared in a thick veil of mist.

Le 24 janvier 2015, vers 19 heures, le témoin et son épouse roulaient en voiture au moment de l’incident :
« Il y avait du brouillard ce soir-là. Mais j’ai pu voir trois lumières blanches qui formaient un triangle ou, peut-être, un boomerang. Il était difficile de voir avec cette couche de brouillard ou de brume. L’objet se trouvait à environ 100-200 mètres au-dessus de mon camion. Il se déplaçait lentement au début, puis il a accéléré avant de rapidement disparaître dans le brouillard. »
Le témoin a indiqué que l’objet se dirigeait vers le nord en direction de plusieurs maisons près d’un champ de maïs au Nord de Tuolumne Road.
« Il n’émettait pas de son. Ma femme était dans le siège du passager, mais elle avait la tête baissée en direction de son téléphone quand je lui en ai parlé. Elle n’a pas pu le voir avant qu'il ne disparaisse dans l’épais voile de brouillard. »
Il poursuit :
« Je suis un officier de police à la retraite et chef d'équipe vétéran de l’aviation dans l’US Air Force ainsi qu’un vétéran dans le renseignement pour l’armée. Il ne ressemblait pas du tout à un aéronef. C’était très étrange. »
