Observer Myslivecek E. V. from Minsk (June 1929):
"We lived in a private wooden house. It was a terrible storm, the rain. Suddenly in the next room behind a partition in the side where hung a meter, a loud crash was heard and out of the room slowly emerged a silver ball with a diameter of about thirteen centimeters. It gleamed brightly. The color and luster was like the mercury in a thermometer or an electric kettle.
He very slowly and smoothly sailed to a height of about one meter from the floor in the room where I nursed the baby, turned right into the kitchen, then turned right, into the room where the lady of the house too much. She saw the ball, but did not understand what it is and screamed at me to stop joking. I sat perfectly still.
Suddenly the ball again sailed out of the room of the hostess in the kitchen, then to my room. I was sitting at the table next to the window, in the frame of which was a hole for a bolt from the shutters. Through this hole were stretched a wire is grounding for the radio.
Suddenly the ball without any noise or rustle was drawn out, turning into "fat snake". And "crept", slipped into the hole that was next to my ear. No noise, no Bang, no smell, no heat or light I felt.
Then my husband was surprised that the meter was defective, although, judging by the sound, the ball came out of him."

Hypotheses
Ball lightning
A rare natural phenomenon, a unified physical theory of the origin and course of which has not been presented to date.
There are about 200 theories explaining the phenomenon, but none of them has received absolute recognition in the academic environment. Since this phenomenon was introduced into the scientific sphere by the English physician and researcher of electrical engineering William Snow Harris in 1843, and a scientist of the French Academy Francois Arago in 1855, many hypotheses were put forward. Here are selectively some of them:
