At approximately 20:50 on local time, the pilot saw a circular object with more than 100 lights at very low altitude in the area of Riverhead (new York).
The object hovered for 5-10 minutes and then flew in the direction of Montauk.
Around 21:15 p.m. at Suffolk County AFB received a call from a man who reported a UFO in the vicinity of Southampton. A request was made for the deviation of the aircraft KC-97 (AG 506) to try it identifitsirovat. This was done by using GCA Vectors. The pilot saw the object but could not identify him.

At around 8:50 p.m. local time, a large circular object with over 100 lights was observed at very low altitude in the vicinity of Riverhead, N.Y. by an airman. The object hovered for 5-10 minutes and then flew away towards Montauk. Around 9:15 p.m., at the Suffolk County AFB, a call came in of someone reporting a UFO in the vicinity of Southhampton.
